Here is an example itinerary to give you a better idea of how you'll be spending your time in India. Althought we won't follow it exactly, this itinerary highlights most of the activities we will be doing during your retreat.
10am intro ceremony // meet and greet. 11:30am land chai. Intro ceremony, games and activities. Tour of Laxman Jhula. Sunset Ganga Aarti at Parmarth Niketan Ashram.
Wake up at 4:30am and drive up into the mountains to catch a sunrise at the Mt. Kunjapuri Devi Temple. Do some yoga and meditation then hike with the setting of the snowcapped Himalayas in the background. Come home in the afternoon and get an Ayurvedic massage. Finish the night off with some live music and delicious food at Zorba Organic Cafe.
Morning yoga and meditation on the Ganga River. Visit Maharishi Mahesh Yogi's Ashram (where the Beatles stayed). Ayurvedic cooking class. Evening Kirtan.
Take a jeep up the mountains into a rural village to visit the Guru of Rajpreet and Krystal who has lived in the same cave for the last 14 years. Practice yoga and meditation surrounded by beautiful green hill terraces. You'll get to meet his pet monkey, too! Return home by 7pm just in time for dinner and evening Satsang.
Morning yoga and meditation with a guest teacher. Meet with Madaji to learn the power of mantras. Raft the Ganga up to 35km and come home to enjoy an Ayurvedic treatment, then an evening bonfire and Kirtan.
Wake up at sunrise for morning yoga and meditation on the Ganga. Breakfast. Take off early for a day trip to Haridwar with lots of little adventures along the way.
